NEUTRAL

There is a special feeling that comes with wearing neutral colors,or am I the only one who feels that way? An indescribable inner peace,a sense of not belonging to any extreme group, fully neutral and not taking sides. Maybe I am taking the neutrality meaning too directly, but I just was describing the feeling.
My mother loves neutrals, the handbag I have here is basically the staple color my mother owns, with others white, grey and brown. She doesn't own shouting colored bags, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all!
I had my eyes on these double doors because of their color. Each time I passed by, I imagined how they would come out in a photograph and I love the outcome. Don't you?

The 'Me Time' Tag

We tend to be around the same people all the time such that it becomes monotonous and sometimes you wonder why you are feeling low. Don't get me wrong. Being with your friends, family, loved ones 24/7 is not a bad idea and not a good one either! It is these 'routines' that make you feel bored, easily angered or just feeling meh out of nowhere. It's a wise thing to make time for yourself, after all,you are your biggest investment.
Nyasha Nicole tagged me to do this and I enjoyed it. When you're done here, heard over to her blog A naturelle craving and read all about what she gets up to whenever she has  some time to her self.

What do you watch/read during me time?
Novels and self help books.I do read magazines,I have three that I shamelessly reread..I now know the articles. Since me time is frequent, I do catch up with my favorite series.

What do you wear during me time?
My favorite cream morning gown. I love it because it was a present from my mum when I passed my O'level exams. I'm talking of a six years old silk gown. Thanks mum.

What are your me time beauty products?
I normally have coconut oil or vitamin E oil smeared on my face but as of the past month,I have been indulging in face masks from Elianto. So refreshing.

Current and favorite nail polish?
Sasatinnie Q19 from Sasa,a local beauty shop. I fell for it's shade of green.

What do you eat or drink during me time?
Popcorn and tea. Sometimes the popcorn is unavailable so it's mostly tea

Current favorite candle?
Mango& Peach from Aeon and Strawberry sinnlig from IKEA

Do you ever have outdoor me time?
If exercise sessions are me time then yes. Oh, do we consider spa dates to be me time?,if so then yes, whenever I have funds to spoil myself.

Would you ever watch a movie alone?
I would! I think i will enjoy the awkwardness. I'm quiet a talker when watching movies so I don't know who I will be annotating to.

Favorite online shop?
I'm such a traditional shopper so I don't have an online shop that I can rate to be a favorite. I do like Zalora and Dressgal

Anything to add?
I'm adding what type of music do you listen to?
I'm also adding what hobby do you enjoy during me time?
It will be cooking, because I feel rejuvenated whenever i put my all in whipping a new recipe. Sleeping cannot be subtracted from me time, those thirty minute power naps go a long way!

I am tagging Audry,Meron and everyone else who wants to do the tag.
Cheers...
Grace

TIMELESS

Whenever I come across the word timeless, red lipstick comes to my head. There is something about a classic red lip.I feel it depicts boldness, femininity, the wholesomeness that comes with being a woman. Faithful people also come to my head. Nothing beats someone who can stay true to another or to something unconditionally. What comes to your mind when you come across the word timeless?Let your girl know.
The LBD(little black dress) is another undying wardrobe staple that comes to mind. Although I have mine in a different color, the idea of a versatile dress makes so much sense. Individuals  who compliment the next person, empowers them and make everyone they come across feel good about themselves are timeless, just like pencil skirts. They look good paired with heels, flats, boots, blazers,at the beach,at the work place. Everywhere really. Be timeless.
I found this detailed floor at the museum.Had a naming ceremony been held for it..classic was the perfect name.Ageless.Unfading.Timeless.

Taking Stock Seven

Making,(i'm rather turning) : Mascara into my go to make up product. I love how that wand works magic on my lashes. My eyes look bigger and open. I just love mascara.

Drinking : A good friend of mine gave me mango tea and I have been drinking it religiously!

Reading : I have been a little off track. I have not been reading anything. I know,i know...you don't have to rub it in. Okay, read on.

Wanting : To be home, with my mum and sisters. Did I just leave out the cutest nephew in the whole wide world?? I want to be with him too.

Looking:  For inspiration everywhere. Creativity feeds anywhere and everywhere.

Wasting: I will not call it wasting time but I have been a bit more laid back than usual. March is marching in with my groove.

Wishing: I had some super power to deal with rude office workers!I had a whole week of going to people's offices and they all increased my blood pressure. I did not let them steal my peace though,BUT i might have said some not so nice things on my way out.I promise I was not loud.

Wondering: What you guys got for Valentine's,or what you bought for yourselves. You know self love is the best love right?

Loving:  A number of series. I was once against them and boy was I lost! I'm loving Marco Polo, The Shannara Chronicles &Billions. I am watching quite a number but I need suggestions if you have any. Ye shan't judge.

Hoping: I learn how to respond to negative comments. They say silence is golden so i'm hoping to serve it on golden platters the next time negativity is thrown my way. So help me God.

Marveling: At how I am putting newly learnt things to practice. After all, what is sown should bring forth seedlings right?

Needing: To go shopping for a button for my new dress. It came with no button. They should have sold it on a discounted price since they had a button missing. I still need that button-trip to the mall.

Smelling: Nivea

Knowing: That life is what you make it. Sounds cliche but if you really understand what that phrase means, it's a powerful thing to keep at the back of your mind. I also know a handful of people celebrating their birthday today. There is obviously something special about March the 3rd

Thinking: About what to put down here.

Bookmarking: March 26th

Opening: Cute presents. You know February is all about gifts.. but it doesn't mean no gifts the other ten months. Ten,excluding my birthday month August.

Feeling:  Healthy and fit hehe. I'm one of those people who check for abs after every work out. I am not ashamed.

Cooking :  Beans. I got some sugar beans, cooked them and they got me reminiscing my last year in high school. We used to keep our beans in the refrigerator and warmed them the following morning. To cut the long story short, beans on bread with tea is delicious! Try it.

Playing: I discovered or rather, learnt to love Asa, a soulful musician. I have been playing her song 'Jailer'I know most people have been on that work work work tip though.

Enjoying: Joyce Meyer's sermons. I love her.

Liking: A new routine I started end of February. I promised myself to drink half a liter of water first thing in the morning. It's not the easiest thing to do but it sure is exciting!Getting that water in.

Wearing: Sunglasses almost everyday. I think i'm beginning to understand people who wear them in malls,it's laziness to put them off,I guess. Those who rock them at night..I'm concerned!

Following: Scandal and Rhythm City. These are South African Soapies I last watched in 2013! I had no clue they uploaded episode on Youtube. The discovery is one of my favorite out of a tonne.

Noticing: We are already three months deep into 2016! What have you been doing with your lives people, still on those resolutions? Hopefully.

Feeling:  At peace,I had no clue life would be like 'this' but we can't have everything figured out else life will not be as fun. Happy new March
